Oh the joy of a fall walk through the woods! Join WBU Team Specialist Diane Bricmont to look for Cedar Waxwings and White-throated Sparrows. Bring binoculars, if you have them - Diane will offer tips on making the most of your optics.
Please RSVP to Diane to reserve your spot & receive meet-up instructions: 636-236-6309 (call or text)

Explore all the ways in which birds are intelligent social creatures
and how every action is made with reasoning and logic so we can understand the complex world of these beloved creatures and ensure their protection.
Join us for an exciting talk by award-winning teacher of animal
behavior and professor of biology, Joan Strassman. Author of the engaging Slow Birding and The Slow Birding Journal, Strassman will introduce us to the world of bird societies and discuss her newest book, The Social Lives of Birds.
Copies of her book will be available for purchase and Joan Strassman will sign books after the talk.

Every migrating bird undertakes a perilous journey that tests the limits of its endurance. This class will cover the wonders of migration as a whole with a focus on those species traveling through Missouri. A field trip to Busch Conservation Gardens to look for migrating birds will follow the class on Saturday, 10/25 at 8am.
